INTERCONNECTION
Interconnection means the exchange of telecommunication services between different providers of telecommunication services in Norway. A prerequisite for the realisation of interconnection is for the parties networks to be physically connected.
Lycamobile Norway Limited (NUF) has interconnection agreements with Telenor Norge AS and TeliaSonera Norge AS in Norway. Interconnection covers both connection and traffic interchange with Lycamobile's mobile network.
AGREEMENT FOR INTERCONNECTION
The purpose of the Agreement on Interconnection is to realize the possibility for any user of the one party's network to communicate with any user connected to the other party's network, and that users connected to the parties' respective networks can access the services that the parties provide in their networks. The agreement regulates, among other things:
- Relationship to Lycamobile's mobile network in the specified interconnection points
- Implementation of porting prefix and number series
- The exchange of traffic between the parties' network
- Payment procedures for the contractual relationship
